LINDT CHOCOLATIER SUISSE

3 rd. GLOBAL PRIZE : LINDT GLOBAL DUTY-FREE CONTEST 2016

The Brief:

 

The objective of the contest was to design the packaging of classic Lindt chocolate, but only for those exclusively sold in airports’ DUTY-FREE shops. Contestants from around the world must present the package design as a whole, within and without, that would catch the eyes of travellers so much that they cannot resist buying it as a souvenir.

Our Creative Solution:

 

The journey to and from airports was, in essence, the portal linking different cities. The experience from those journeys was the part we accented as an ideal gift for your loved one. The design materialized said experience under the core idea of “LINDT : The Traveller.” The foil wrappers were printed with all the scenes familiar to travellers; the flight schedules, suitcases, twilight moments through the plane window, boarding passes, and passports. The chocolates came in nifty, reusable packages shaped like cosmetic pouches, laptop bags, duffel bags, and large luggage. Those packages were to be placed on a platform stylized as baggage claim conveyor belt at LINDT DUTY-FREE point of purchase.
